NEC SL1000 Telnet access

To be able to run ping and more:

10-20 Item 6: Set DIM Output port to TCP Port 23.
90-31 DIM Access: Enable, set username and password.

Possibly a System Initialisation -> 2nd Initialisation will be needed.

Hi Braian,

I have a NEC SL 1000, With it are 20 ISDN PRI lines. These lines are in a hunting group setup. However i would like to remove about 5 lines from the group,i ant to direct these lines to Directors extensions such that the director is the only one with access to these lines. He should call out and recieve all the calls on his extension.

How do i program this using WebPro

Hi,

Do the lines not have Direct Dialling In (DDI)? Normally you will have a number block assigned to the PRI (e.g. 320100 to 320149). In that case you just need to set the lines to DIL. E.g 320100 for the hunt group, and 101, 102, 103, etc for the Directors.

The only challenge is when the DDI number range is not identical to your extension numbering.
